Coding in the classroom

To define and design a significant opportunity for collaboration between Kano and Microsoft, we researched and framed possibilities in the EdTech market.

We built up a wide-ranging picture of how coding is taught to kids and understood by them, along with factors influencing their engagement in STEM subjects.

The final design celebrates the magic of users building the computer whilst simultaneously answering the changing needs of students and teachers and reflecting the capabilities of the operating system.
